I am a B&W photography enthusiast with no darkroom facility of my own. I have only recently become aware of Tony and the processing and printing services he provides. The shots on the first roll of film I took to Tony were taken in haste just before I went into hospital – it was the worst roll I ever took, a real mess. I took it to Tony more out of curiosity than with any real hope of a good outcome. What a wonderful surprise I got! The prints Tony made from this roll were really beautiful, far beyond any hopes I dared or had any right to have for them. Not only had Tony brought a thorough and sensitive expertise to this work in order to achieve this result, but he had explained in detail, and in a very open and friendly manner, how he would approach this task and, afterwards, how it had turned out and the choices he had made in the process. He provided several alternative versions of some of the shots so that I could make my own choices. In view of the service he provides, Tony is very cost competitive. I have no hesitation in recommending Tony to anyone who wants their photo processing and printing work to be undertaken with expertise and sensitivity to achieve the highest quality outcomes.
